i've never taken lessons but i've been told i'm blossoming haha. trying to get commissions :/ need more cash than my job offers and i LOVE drawing portraitsIf you were in New York City, there are many portrait and caricature artists doing it daily and making good money, it seems. Not sure how good this site is for marketing the kind of art you do. So many anime fans on here. I post drawings and photos on here, but my photos gain more interest than my drawings. If you like to draw comics, this may be the place to hook up and collaborate with other artists. Perhaps you can freelance as an illustrator for books,too. Portraits? Not sure. You are very talented. Just keep making contacts and reaching out to other artists. Just be careful about your approach. Don't want to make other artists feel as if they are being solicited for business and favors. I'll put a link to your page on my Facebook page. OK?
